2 pound(s) cooked 99% fat-free ground turkey breast
1 medium uncooked onion(s)
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 oz fat-free feta cheese
1 1/2 cup(s) restaurant type steamed Chinese white rice
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp table salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 oz parmesan cheese
15 oz canned tomato sauce


  1. Cut off tops of peppers and clean out ribs and seeds from inside
  2. Preheat skillet to medium on stovetop
  3. Dice onion and begin to brown
  4. In a large bowl, begin to mix the turkey, cooked rice, spices, feta cheese, 2-3 ounces of sauce and oil
  5. Add garlic to the skillet when the onions are almost fully browned
  6. Let the onions and garlic cool for a few minutes
  7. Mix the onions/garlic well into the turkey mixture
  8. Stuff the peppers with the turkey mixture and arrange in your slow cooker pot
  9. Pour the remaining sauce over and around the peppers
  10. Top each pepper with some shaved parmesan
  11. Cook on the low setting for 6 hours or until the meat is cooked through
